Circuit Ricardo Tormo celebrates its 25th anniversary this season and you have the opportunity to take part in the I Gran Premio Velas Maraton, a running event in which participants of all categories will have the chance to run on the Circuit’s track.
The date is 15 June at 21:00. At that time, the start of the two scheduled competitions will take place. A one-lap race around the Grand Prix track, 4,005 metres, and also a 10-kilometre distance race for the more experienced runners, which will consist of a first lap of the full 4-kilometre track and another two laps of the outer circuit similar to the one used by Formula E, each of these laps having a distance of 3 kilometres to complete the 10K of the long race.
Registration is now open on the CRONORUNNER website with a price of only 3 euros for both the one-lap race and the 10K.
The start will take place at the starting grid of the Circuit and the finish, under the chequered flag, will be located in the same place to complete a unique experience that combines the love for running and the passion for races.
Velas Maraton is a young running club in the city of Valencia that already has a good number of members and is organising for the first time a race open to everyone. This is a first experience that should consolidate itself as one of the major events in the calendar of popular races with a singular, unique and safe event that can also be an unforgettable experience for lovers of the motor world in this 25th anniversary of the Circuit.
