Circuit Ricardo Tormo will hold its MotoGP two events behind closed doors on the 8th and 15th of November. This determination has been made at the request of the health authorities in a meeting held with representatives of the Regional Ministry of Health and Sports. That this measure has been adopted in the rest of the MotoGP races held on Spanish circuits.

Circuit Ricardo Tormo, in collaboration with Deporte de la Generalitat, Dorna, the company that manages MotoGP rights and with the Cheste City Council, had worked on the possibility of adapting a protocol for the possible attendance of fans. However, after analyzing the situation following the evolution of the pandemic, finally the Motul Grand Prix of the Valencian Community, like the European Grand Prix, will be held behind closed doors.

“We have been doing our best, that is our commitment to the motorcycling fans who have always filled the Circuit stands”, stated the general manager, Gonzalo Gobert and added “It will be a strange situation to have the best riders in the world on the racetrack and not being able to have fans in the stands, but the safety and the public health of all prevail and we are already thinking of being able to offer the best image of the Circuit and of the Valencian Community to the millions of spectators who will follow us on TV”

Refund or change to 2021

Valencia Circuit has extended the deadline for fans to request the tickets refund until November 15. Ricardo Tormo Circuit has opened the possibility that those who wish to keep their tickets for the year 2021 as well.

Those who prefer the money back must fill out the corresponding form on the Circuit’s website and those who choose to keep their tickets for 2021, do not have to do absolutely anything because their seats are automatically reserved for the 2021 edition of the Grand Prix.

The two GP’s will be held under rigorous security measures to ensure that the final of the MotoGP world championship runs smoothly.
